A brand new configurator for the LSC wiring system of Lütze speeds up enclosure design even more. Prefabricated wiring frames can be set up directly in EPLAN Electric P8. Users are guided comfortably through the complete configuration – definitely high-speed engineering with maximum comfort.
The Customer Solutions department of EPLAN Software & Service has developed a configurator for the LSC wiring system of Lütze that had its debut on the SPS/IPC/DRIVES fair. The LSC system is a wiring frame that replaces the mounting board – a real show-stopper. Switching elements can be located space-savingly through integrated DIN rails and screw mounting and can be mounted in just a few moments. As an add-in to the EPLAN platform, the Lütze configurator is integrated directly in EPLAN Electric P8 – perfect workflow inclusive.
Time saved in engineering and mounting
It can't get more comfortable: The Lütze configurator guides the user through the entire frame layout. After the desired enclosure has been selected, the system specifies both the suitable frame width and parts as well as the corresponding profiles and wiring strips. The distances between components can be defined comfortably. When the layout of the wiring frame has been configured and integrated into EPLAN Electric P8 at the click of a button, the user simply drags-and-drops the desired components and devices from the EPLAN-specific enclosure navigator to the provided equipment surfaces in the Lütze wiring frame.
Perfectly documented
Users also remain flexible during changes and even individual customizing such as special dimensioning or special components can be implemented with the usual graphics functions of the EPLAN platform. Additional drawing tools are not required for graphical structuring of the frame. In order to round off the workflow, reports and complete production documentation, that furthermore accelerates the ordering process, can be drawn up individually.
Conclusion:
The new Lütze configurator for EPLAN Electric P8 accelerates the engineering process and makes the process of structuring the enclosure comfortable. A further advantage: According to Lütze, the space required in the enclosure drops by up to 30%, and the values for the installed heat dissipation also improve.
